MY GEODESIS Loyalty Program terms and conditions of use
ARTICLE 1 - JOINING THE PROGRAMME
1. The MY GEODESIS loyalty programme is offered free of charge by GEODESIS, a company with a share capital of 175 185€ registered in the Vannes Trade and Companies Register under number 791 785 025, whose registered office is located at Vannes (56000) ZA de Pentaparc, Rue Jules Henriot. It is open to any individual over the age of 18, who requests it or to whom the programme has been offered.
2. Membership of the MY GEODESIS loyalty programme can only be obtained via the website www.geodesis.com.
3. The customer will need to have or create a customer account on www.geodesis.com and place an order to start the loyalty programme. Customers who do not have an account at www.geodesis.com can create one at the following address : https://www.geodesis.com/en/my-account. To do this, you need to enter your title, first name, surname, valid email address and password, and click on "Submit".
Other data, such as the customer's date of birth, other means of contact and, in particular, the customer's telephone number, may be communicated by the customer if they so wish.
4. The MY GEODESIS loyalty account has a limited validity period. If the customer makes no purchases for 3 consecutive years, their account will be automatically deactivated, and they will no longer be able to use the site. In addition, please consult these terms and conditions for the period of validity of the points and discounts available.
5. The loyalty account is unique and personal and may under no circumstances be transferred or used by a third party, or for purposes other than those defined by GEODESIS in these regulations. A person can only have one loyalty account.
6.The loyalty programme can be used on the www.geodesis.com online shop to acquire and redeem points.
ARTICLE 2 - ACQUISITION OF LOYALTY POINTS
1. Members can check their points balance at any time by logging into their customer account on the site.
2.The GEODESIS loyalty programme allows you to earn points as follows :
- Purchase: 1€ purchase = 10 points
- Newsletter subscription = 200 points
- Entering your birthday in the registration form = 100 points
The points you accumulate will be converted into euros for use on your next purchase:
- 1000Pts = 5€ towards your next purchase on the site
- 2000Pts = 12€ towards your next purchase on the site
- 3000Pts = 20€ towards your next purchase on the site
- 4000Pts = 30€ towards your next purchase on the site
3. To collect points for online purchases, customers must first enter their customer account in the "my account" section at the following address https://www.geodesis.com/en/my-account. The online purchase during which the customer creates their account will allow them to accumulate points from their first order.
Points can be accumulated as follows: 1€ of purchases = 10 points, excluding delivery charges.
4. Points are earned by purchasing all products, even those on special offer or sale online at geodesis.fr. No points may be accumulated for purchases financed by GEODESIS credit notes or gift vouchers. In the event that a member of the MY GEODESIS loyalty programme requests a refund for one or more products that have enabled them to accumulate points, the associated points will be deducted from their account balance the following day. Purchases made with a loyalty discount will also earn points on the loyalty card for the portion of the price, excluding the discount.
5. In the event that a member of the programme requests a refund for an item on which they received their loyalty discount, the points used to obtain this discount will not be credited back. However, if the product is exchanged, the programme member will again benefit from the discount on the new item exchanged.
6. Points accumulated on the card are valid for 24 months from the date of acquisition. After 24 months, points are cancelled and can no longer be converted into a discount.
7. Points cannot be converted into cash. They entitle the holder to discounts on purchases as provided for in these terms and conditions and may not under any circumstances give rise to reimbursement, cashback or other compensation.
ARTICLE 3 - MONITORING POINTS
1. Programme members can check their points balance through their customer account under the heading MY GEODESIS account.
2. For any complaint regarding the points balance and concerning online purchases on the www.geodesis.com site, the customer must contact the Geodesis customer relations department by e-mail at the following address: serviceclients@geodesis.com, providing their customer number and the number of the order placed on the site.
ARTICLE 4 - USE OF AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS RESULTING FROM ACCUMULATION OF POINTS
1. When members of the programme have accumulated at least 1,000 points in their loyalty account, they receive a discount at the checkout or on the online purchase of their choice.
2. The discount scale is as follows:
- 1000Pts = 5€ towards your next purchase on the site
- 2000Pts = 12€ towards your next purchase on the site
- 3000Pts = 20€ towards your next purchase on the site
- 4000Pts = 30€ towards your next purchase on the site
3. The discount can be used once GEODESIS has issued the available discount. Programme members will be notified of the availability of their discount by email. This information is provided 3 working days after the purchase that enabled the sufficient number of points to be acquired, or the day after the parcel ordered and paid for online is dispatched.
4. Once the loyalty discount has been used, the member's points balance will be debited by the number of points used. Points accumulated in excess of those used will be retained. The new points balance will be available to view at www.geodesis.com from the day after the discount is used.
5. The discount can be used on a single purchase, i.e. giving rise to the issue of a single invoice or till receipt, which may relate to one or more products. The discount cannot exceed the price of the product. Also, if the discount is used to purchase an item with a value less than the amount of the discount, the discount will be capped at the amount of the purchase and any remaining balance will be lost.
6. Any available discounts are valid for 24 months from the date of issue. After 24 months, available discounts are cancelled and can no longer be used for purchases.
7. Discounts cannot be split. For example, 1,500 points can only be used for a €5 discount.
8. Discounts cannot be converted into cash. They will be deducted from purchases as provided for in these terms and conditions and may not under any circumstances give rise to a refund, cash rebate or other compensation.
9. The available discounts are not cumulative. If a member of the programme holds the equivalent of several loyalty discounts, i.e. a points balance equal to or greater than 4,000 points, they will not be able to accumulate these discounts on the same purchase and benefit from more than €30, for example. The other discounts must be used on separate purchases.
ARTICLE 5 - CHANGE OF ADDRESS/IDENTITY/NOTIFICATIONS
1. Any change of address or name of the customer must be notified by the account holder to the MY GEODESIS customer relations department. The programme member guarantees the accuracy of all information provided and will be solely responsible for any erroneous, incomplete or obsolete information.
2.Notifications made by GEODESIS to the last known email address shall be deemed to have been duly made and shall have full effect, even if the address is no longer active, without the consumer being able to contest the consequences.
ARTICLE 6 - DURATION AND CHANGES TO THE PROGRAMME
1. GEODESIS reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the MY GEODESIS loyalty programme at any time, subject to informing members by email, giving one month's notice for the acquisition of new points generated by purchases and 12 (twelve) months' notice for the use of available discounts. No recourse may be taken against GEODESIS and no compensation shall be due in this respect.
2.Programme members are advised to visit the www.geodesis.comwebsite regularly and to check their emails, as GEODESIS may vary the conditions of the programme. If these conditions are not to the member's liking, they may ask to leave the programme. In this case, the provisions set out in the previous paragraph relating to the termination or substantial modification of the programme will apply. It is understood that, in this case, neither they nor any member of their household (same physical or email address) will be able to subscribe again to the programme or to another loyalty programme set up by GEODESIS during the following two years.
ARTICLE 7 - LIABILITY
GEODESIS is exonerated from all liability for the direct or indirect consequences of any anomalies and malfunctions of the MY GEODESIS loyalty programme, whatever their causes. GEODESIS will nevertheless do its utmost to ensure that, in the event of a malfunction, each Customer retains the benefit of their points and benefits.
In the event of a dispute over the cumulative amount, only the information contained in the GEODESIS database will be deemed authentic.
Any intentional breach of these General Terms and Conditions, any abusive or fraudulent use of the benefits offered by the Programme, any behaviour prejudicial to the interests of GEODESIS, any falsification of information transmitted by a Customer or by a third party acting on behalf of a Customer, will automatically result in the cancellation of the Customer's membership, points or benefits obtained, without compensation of any kind and without prior notice.
If status as a Customer is withdrawn, their Personal Account will be liquidated, their loyalty account will be deactivated, and they will not be able to use the available Loyalty Points and Gift Vouchers.
ARTICLE 8 - DATA PROCESSING AND FREEDOM OF INFORMATION
To guarantee you the best possible service, and to ensure the management of the loyalty programme, we need to collect personal data (such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number and date of birth) that you communicate to us or that we obtain in the course of your purchases. This information is required to manage your loyalty account. This mandatory data is marked with an asterisk. All this information is for internal use only. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the contract you have accepted by joining our loyalty programme.
We keep your data for the duration of the contractual relationship with you. In the event of prolonged inactivity on your part, your personal data will be deleted 3 years after the end of the commercial relationship. However, we may retain your personal data in order to comply with legal obligations (in particular accounting and litigation).
